General Description

Hybrid tea roses have large, exquisitely fashioned long stemmed flowers that epitomize the ideal "rose" for many gardeners. The Veteran’s Honor® rose, cultivar 'Jacopper', is a large-flowered selection valued for its beauty, vigor, and adaptability to hot summer climates. Throughout the growing season, it bears large double red flowers that develop pink undertones as they age. These have a sweet raspberry fragrance.

This relatively cold hardy rose prefers temperate climates with enough winter chill to allow for dormancy. Like most roses, it prefers full to part sun, moist, perfectly drained soil and sites with good air flow. Tea roses make superb cut flowers and look great planted in any sunny mixed border.
