General Description

Fully double, spicy copper-pink blooms grace this stunning floribunda rose all season long. The hybrid-tea-like roses are borne in clusters atop well-branched, vigorous shrubs that are resistant to rust and powdery mildew. This fine rose was hybridized by Keith W. Zary of Agoura Hills, California and introduced by Jackson & Perkins in 2007.

This hardy rose is a woody deciduous shrub with stems lined with sharp woody thorns. It has a bushy habit, compound leaves that are dark to medium green and is everblooming. Its loose fully double (~26 to 40 petals) flowers are coppery pink and have a heady, spicy fragrance. They are borne in large, abundant clusters.

Roses prefer full to partial sun, moderate temperatures and perfectly drained, slightly acid soil with average to good fertility. They grow best in places with slightly dry climates, because such climates disfavor the fungal diseases that plague them. For this reason, it is important to maintain good airflow within and between planted roses through good planting and pruning practices which will dissuade fungal attacks. Roses are rife with pest and disease problems. In fact, there are many common pests and diseases that can harm them. Fortunately, new cultivars are bred to be disease resistant. This selection is tolerant of rust and powdery mildew.

Floribunda roses are a landscape must. They are perfect for sunny foundations, mixed borders and hedges. Especially pretty, disease resistant, floriferous cultivars like this one.
