General Description

Hybrid tea roses are the divas of the garden. Their large, exquisitely fashioned flowers appear on long stems and epitomize the ideal "rose" for many gardeners. The popular and highly rated cultivar 'Peace' is vigorous and produces large, double flowers that are yellow with pink edges. These are only mildly fragrant and appear above glossy dark green foliage. Hybrid tea roses are relatively cold hardy and thrive best in temperate climates with enough winter chill to allow them to go dormant. They like full sun and moist, fertile, well drained soil. Tea roses make superb cut flowers and look great planted in any sunny mixed border.
