Rosa 'Wekcisbako'(HOME RUN™) PPAF
Home Run™ Rose, Shrub Rose
Home Run™ is an easy to grow, compact shrub rose that blooms throughout much of the growing season. It produces many fiery red, single blooms that are mildly fragrant. These appear above dark green foliage that is tinted with burgundy when it first emerges in spring and as it ages in fall. Its flowers are followed by orange rosehips that are attractive to birds.
This selection is mildew and black spot resistant and cold hardy. Like most roses, it prefers full to part sun, moist, perfectly drained soil and sites with good air flow. Plant it as a low hedge, in mixed borders or rose gardens.
