Syringa meyeri 'Palibin'
Dwarf Korean Lilac, Meyer Lilac, Palibin Lilac
The pleasing compact, mounded to spreading habit and numerous small panicles of lilac-pink flowers make Palabin lilac an exceptional shrub for the landscape. It flowers appear in late spring to early summer and are sweetly fragrant. Like most lilacs, the following year's flower buds are set shortly after flowering, so prune directly after it blooms. The small, deep green, rounded leaves of this shrub change to golden-brown in the autumn.
Enjoy ‘Palabin’ as a foundation shrub or in mixed borders. It needs well-drained, average soil and full sun for best flowering.
