General Description

Verbena in the Aztec® series are vigorous, warm season, tender perennials that are grown as annual bedding plants in colder regions. They are heavy-blooming, densely-branched and have feathery, medium green foliage that is mildew-resistant.

Aztec® verbena bear many clusters of tubular flowers that come in shades of red, white, pink, purple, coral or rose. These attract butterflies and bees and require regular deadheading.

Like most verbenas, these are drought tolerant and resilient in summer heat and humidity but will perform well in cooler temperatures too. They prefer full sun and moderately fertile, amply drained soil. Plant these colorful plants in containers, hanging baskets, along walkways, and borders.
