Family

Asteraceae

Botanical Name

Zinnia 'Profusion Apricot'( PROFUSION SERIES)

Plant Common Name

Profusion Apricot Zinnia, Zinnia

General Description

Profusion zinnias are excellent flowering annuals that originated from a cross between Z. angustifolia and Z. elegans. The compact, everblooming plants have linear green leaves and many medium-sized flowers.

The pretty 'Profusion Apricot' has pale peach daisies with orange centers. It is a national award winner for its disease resistance and profuse flowering. Given full sun and fertile soil, it will flower continuously all summer. In fact, a mature plant may have dozens of flowers in bloom at once. Regular deadheading will keep plants looking clean. This is the perfect bedding annual for hot, sunny gardens and containers.
